What is PKMB?
PKMB, the full name is polycraft or polykraft. It is a special kraft paper laminated to the aluminum surface using heat laminated or adhesive laminated application to provide extra durability and resistance to abrasion and abrasion. Polykraft has light and matt to choose from. The light is more expensive, but there is a layer of PE film on the surface, which has better moisture-proof effect.
Classification of aluminum PKMB
Aluminum PKMB has two types based on surface treatment: smooth and stucco embossed.
Smooth
Smooth surfaces are more reflective of sunlight than stucco embossed surfaces. And it can drain rain well when it rains. But when it’s dirty and damaged, it’s easier for us to see.
Stucco embossed
An embossed surface increases its strength and ductility, extending its service life. At the same time, it is not easy to cause strong light reflection and has good visual effects. And hides dirt and damage better than smooth surfaces.


Processing technology of aluminum PKMB
Unlike PSMB, which has only one processing technology, PKMB has two processing technologies, one is the same heat laminated as PSMB, and the other is the adhesive laminated.
Heat laminated
Heat laminated is to apply hot glue on the aluminum plate and heat the film on the color coating line.
Adhesive laminated
Adhesive laminated is applied directly on the embossing machine, and the bonding effect is not as good as heat laminated.
